Angelina Leung (COM’19) is majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Political Science. After being Regional Conference Coordinator and Financial Coordinator, Angelina is excited to lead BUPRSSA this year as President. Additionally, she also produces for BU On Broadway and Stage Troupe. Imani Roberson (COM’20) is a junior majoring in Public Relations and Political Science through the dual degree program. Outside of BUPRSSA, Imani is a Resident Assistant and also the president of BU’s Inner Strength Gospel Choir. In her free time, she likes working on DIY projects and making travel videos, or vlogs. This year as Vice President, she would like to foster a close-knit PRSSA community.

Kelci Lowery (COM’20) is a junior in the College of Communication majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Classical Civilizations in the College of Arts and Sciences. Outside of BUPRSSA, Kelci is also a Supervisor in PRLab and has worked at The Nature Conservancy as a marketing intern. Jordan Beaumont (COM ‘21) is a sophomore majoring in Public Relations from New York. Jordan likes to study languages, with 5 being her current max, and explore Boston with friends. She is also a member of COMSA, and works in the CAS Office of Student Programs and Leadership.

Wenyi Jiang (COM’19) is a senior from Nanjing, China, double majoring in Public Relations and Classical Civilization. Outside of BU, Wenyi has interned at Kallaway Communications, a boutique art PR consultancy during her stay in London for the study abroad program. The past summer, she interned at KARV Communications, a New York based PR firm with a focus on corporate and financial communications, crisis management and public affairs. When Wenyi isn’t busy with COM/CAS classes, she is practicing karate, doing community service, or exploring restaurants around the city (food makes everything ten times more enjoyable)!

Yuele (COM’20) is a junior studying public relations and screenwriting. She is from Shanghai and went to Vancouver for high school. Her multicultural background allows her to have more opportunities working in different countries. In summer 2018, she interned at Weber Shandwick Shanghai Office and managed social media accounts for Victoria’s Secret. She believes her internship experiences would bring more perspectives and ideas to Unleashed.

Maria Fernandes (COM’21) is a sophomore majoring in Public Relations. She is from Portugal and has lived in Brazil since she was eight years old. Along with her responsibilities for PRSSA, she is part of the promotion team for the PR Advanced regional conference. Before coming to BU, she held planning and marketing roles for various organizations and was marketing ambassador for The Harvard Shop. In her free time she enjoys exploring new restaurants, playing the piano, and watching Netflix.

Professor Stephen Quigley, APR, is an Associate Professor in COM where he has taught public relations and communications courses for 16 years. In 2011 Professor Quigley was presented with the Outstanding Educator Award by the Public Relations Society of America. He is a former member of the National Commission on Public Relations Education, past president of the Boston Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and a past delegate to the National PRSA Assembly. He was the recipient of the 2010 Diane Davis Beacon Award for Lifetime Achievement, the 2009 Boston University Outstanding Student Advisor Award, the 2006 Publicity Club of New England Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2004 Lyndon Baines Johnson Student Advisor of the Year Award, and the 2004 COMSA Faculty Advisor of the Year Award. He’s the lucky husband of a beautiful wife and the proud father of three amazing children (including two BU grads!).
