How has PRSSA enhanced your knowledge of PR/ future career options?
PRSSA hasn’t just opened doors for me; it’s opened floodgates. I’ve
learned a ton in my classes, but PRSSA is what truly made me
understand the industry. The main reason I know people who work in PR
is because I met them through PRSSA/PRSA.
Briefly, what are you looking forward to working on as the current
president of National Committee?
I’m excited to increase our Society’s outreach to high schoolers.
I find lots of members had no idea what PR was when they were
in high school (myself included), and I think educating teens on PR
as a career option is wise for our industry and our Society.
