This Thursday at Boston University’s School of Management, the Council of PR Firms will be hosting a conference titled “Take Flight with PR”. This week we will be highlighting all of the extraordinary speakers that will be speaking at the conference, so stay tuned!
Our second speaker is Edward Boches, who is currently a professor of Advertising here at Boston University. He was an early partner at Mullen, one of the country’s premiere advertising agencies. During his 30-year tenure there, 12 as chief creative officer, he helped define the company’s culture and standards, established its public relations group, integrated digital design and production into the agency’s operations and launched its social influence practice. He has created work for brands that include General Motors, Google, Lending Tree, Monster.com and Nextel. Cannes, One Show, Clio, the New York Art Directors Club and Communication Arts have recognized his work for creative excellence. Boches remains at the agency part-time as its chief innovation officer, serves on the board of directors for Springpad, speaks frequently on industry trends, and writes a popular Ad Age 150 blog called Creativity_Unbound. He teaches advertising creativity with an emphasis on emerging digital and social media.
