Position: Agency Director
Major: Public Relations
How PRSSA has helped you: I came to Boston University as a transfer student my sophomore year and felt totally lost in such a big school. Since I majored in Advertising at my previous college, I had no real concept of what PR was, despite a brief overview that I received at a previous internship. Being a part of PRSSA made me feel part of the BU community, and helped me discover where my distinct passions for public relations were. Also, I drew inspiration from the other members and their dedication, which led me to where I am today.
Kind of PR you are interested in: Nonprofit or Health
Favorite PRSSA memory: Last year I was the Account Director for Project Mailbox through Unleashed Public Relations. For our first campaign, we tagged every chalkboard/whiteboard on campus before classes started at 8am. Completely worth the early morning to raise awareness for a good cause!
Hobbies/other things you do on campus: I will start writing for the COMunicator in the fall, and I also work at the BU Law School. When I get a chance, I like to play the piano, read, and run.
Where you (ideally) see yourself after graduation: I would like to work for a nonprofit organization or at an agency that specializing in Cause Branding or Health PR.
