On Thursday, April 8, Boston University’s PRSSA hosted its first ever Tweet-Up at Jillian’s. The event was spearheaded by Eric Leist, Ginny Soskey and Maurice Rahmey and aimed to attract student and professional communicators in Boston for some drinking, snacking and networking.
The event attracted over 70 people in the different communication fields to come out, mingle, and have a good time.
Among the professionals attending were Josh Gee, a BU alum working as the New Media Director for the Deval Patrick Campaign, Dan Schawbel, a dubbed “Personal Branding Guru” by the New York Times, and BostonTweet himself, Tom O’Keefe.
