PR Advanced: Brand Yourself – Spotlight on the HR Panel

PR Advanced: Brand Yourself is just TWO short days away. In addition to our keynote speakers and breakout sessions, another one of the many highlights of the conference is the Human Resources Panel. We brought together a group of human resources experts to give you the opportunity to ask questions of the interviewers who might one day question you. Our fantastic panel includes:

Christopher Gaturu, senior recruiter and diversity specialist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Christopher began his career in recruitment at an executive search firm where he specialized in permanent placements in the field of accounting, consulting and finance, specifically catering towards companies in dire need of exempt level diverse candidates. He later joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston where he primarily recruits for the Supervision Regulation and Credit department, as well any Accounting/Finance related roles specifically internal audit, accounting, financial planning and analysis and the financial support office.

Kate DiChristopher from Marina Maher Communications. Kate and the rest of the HR team at Marina Maher Communications focus on recruiting and developing the best PR talent and specialize in the areas of employee relations, recruitment and retention, performance management, training and development, strategic planning and organization development. She is also responsible for recruitment at the junior and intern levels, launching a facebook group for job opportunities at MMC and redesigning the firm’s summer internship program.

Maggie van der Leeuw, senior associate of recruitment for Burson-Marsteller’s New York HR department. Since 2004, Maggie has managed the firm’s summer internship program, and has partnered with senior leadership at Burson-Marsteller on recruitment and retention initiatives. She is also involved in many Burson-Marsteller US initiatives including the Reverse Mentoring Program, the design, implementation and training of an enhanced online performance evaluation process across the US, and participating in Burson-Marsteller US volunteer efforts with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk, coordinating and recruiting fellow New York Burson persons to join in the fundraising efforts.

Jason Gloshow, senior vice president, general manager and partner of Fleishman Hillard’s Boston office. Since beginning his career as a journalist, Jason has held positions as vice president of communications strategies for ML Strategies and vice president for the Weber Group, now Weber Shandwick, and managed public relations and communications for Microsoft’s U.S. Public Sector business. Now at Fleishman Hillard, he works with a broad array of clients in the areas of technology, healthcare, financial services, education, and government.
